Janet Cavanagh

Janet has over 20 years’ experience in industry and consulting in Ireland, UK and Europe. She spent 13 years working in Europe and the UK for Logica plc, BT plc and Nortel Networks, in the areas of marketing and business development. 

While at BT in London, Janet was a member of the teams developing joint ventures with Banco Santander in Spain and VIAG Interkom in Germany. At Nortel Networks she managed the team responsible for sales and marketing support and business development in the BT Account. 

Since returning to Ireland in 2002, Janet has worked extensively with businesses, across all sectors, helping them to develop successful strategic, marketing and business plans, and guiding them towards new investment and new market entry. .

Janet has a BA (Hons) in modern languages from University College, Dublin, and a European MBA from EAP European School of Management, Paris.

Janet is a committee member of Lahinch Golf Club, Co. Clare. She is also a keen cyclist, and leads cycling and walking tours for major tour operators and event management/corporate teambuilding companies.
